Effects on Payroll Services
Direct deposits cannot be processed on federal bank holidays and may cause delays in payroll processing.
Gusto Clients: Please keep in mind that direct deposits require a 2-business day lead time for ACH processing.
Semi-monthly/Monthly Schedules: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day may create unexpected adjustments to your process dates and check dates.
Bi-Weekly/Weekly Schedules: To mitigate the impacts of Monday holidays, we advise scheduling weekly or bi-weekly paydays for later in the week such as Thursday or Friday following the end of a pay period.
