10/01/2023: CO launches new online portal for MyUI Employer+

Starting October 1, 2023, the Colorado Department of Labor has launched a new website (MyUI Employer+) which replaces the prior site (MyUI Employer).  If you have a CO Unemployment Account, you must take action and re-register in the new portal or risk being unable to pay and file CO taxes.

What is CO MyUI Employer+?

MyUI Employer+ is a secure system giving employers and third-party administrators (like Salt & Main, Gusto, etc.) online access to their unemployment account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The MyUI Employer+ portal is now available with self-service features and resources for Colorado’s employers managing their own Unemployment Insurance (UI) employer account.  The MyUI Employer+ portal is where you are able to file wage reports, make payments, respond to requests for information, and access more account information inside MyUI Employer+.

What do I need to do?

If you have a CO Unemployment Account, you must take action and re-register in the new portal or risk being unable to pay and file CO taxes.

For Clients NOT Engaged in Payroll Processing Services w/ Salt & Main:

Please contact your payroll service provider for more details.

For Clients Engaged in Payroll Processing Services w/ Salt & Main:

For existing and new clients of Salt & Main who are currently or are planning to be engaged in payroll processing services, it's imperative that you complete the following steps as soon as possible so that we can continue to file and make payments on your behalf with the CO Department of Labor and Employment:

  1. Check your email or physical mail for a letter from the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division.  All CO employers with an active UI account will receive a PIN from the UI Division after Tue Oct 3, 2023. Your PIN will arrive either by email or USPS, depending on how you told the agency you prefer to communicate.  Emails notifications should be coming from cdle_ui-alerts@state.co.us (example below).  USPS notifications should be coming from the CO Dept. of Labor and Employment.
  2. Forward a copy of the email or a scanned image of the paper copy received via USPS to your account manager at Salt & Main.  As long as we receive a copy of either one of these notifications, we will be able to register you with the new CO MyUI Employer+ portal and add Gusto as a third-party administrator on your account in order to continue filing and making payments on your behalf.

What if I did not receive an email or letter from the CO Dept. of Revenue?

If you have not received your PIN by email by Oct 6, 2023 or by USPS by Oct 9, 2023 , contact Employer Services at 303-318-9100. Unfortunately, Salt & Main cannot help find or generate these PINs.
